The Firm is a law firm with its attorneys engaged in the practice of law. It has always been and remains the policy of the Firm to comply with the law and applicable rules of professional conduct where they require our attorneys and other Firm personnel to not disclose client and third-party confidential information. This privacy statement is based on recognized privacy principles. The Firm applies those principles while keeping in mind our obligation to keep confidential the information provided to the Firm by our clients and others or which the Firm obtains about our clients and others in the course of possible or actual legal representation.

Please read this privacy statement carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your personal information and how the Firm will treat it. If you do not agree with the Firm’s policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Firm’s website and to not engage the Firm as your legal counsel. By accessing or using the Firm’s website or engaging the Firm as your legal counsel, you agree to this privacy statement. This privacy statement may change from time to time (see below, Changes to The Firm’s Privacy Statement). Persons Under the Age of 18
The Firm’s website is not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on the Firm’s website and do not seek to engage the Firm as your legal counsel. If the Firm learns it has collected or received personal information about a person under 18 from someone using the Firm’s website, we will delete that information. Sensitive Personal Information
The Firm will not ask you to provide sensitive information about you or any other person when you use the Website. Please do not provide the Firm with sensitive information about you or a third person. Please contact the Firm at info@timoshealaw.com if you believe that you or another person disclosed sensitive information when using the Firm’s website or otherwise communicating with the Firm. The Firm will delete that information.

Information The Firm Collects About You and How the Firm Collects It

The Firm collects several types of information from and about users of the Firm’s website, including:

o personal information (that is, information which by itself or with other information can be used to identify an individual person);

o information that is about you but individually does not identify you, such as IP address or browsing history; and

o information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Firm’s website, and usage details.

The Firm may disclose personal information that the Firm collects or you provide to the Firm:

o to a buyer or other successor in the event of an acquisition, merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Firm's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the Firm about the Firm’s website users and/or clients is among the assets transferred;

The Firm seeks to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to the Firm. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You may send the Firm an email at info@timoshealaw.com to: (i) ask the Firm to confirm that the Firm stores personal information about you, (ii) request access to the personal information the Firm stores about you, and/or (iii) correct, amend or delete any personal information the Firm stores about you. The Firm may not accommodate a request if the Firm believes that honoring the request would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. You have the right to an explanation of why the Firm did not honor your request and to challenge that explanation. Please note, these rights are to only the personal information the Firm collects on the Firm’s website and in emails, texts and other electronic messages between you and the Firm, subject the Firm’s data retention policy.

Data Security
The Firm has implemented reasonable measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although the Firm maintains reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information, the Firm cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Firm’s website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. The Firm and its attorneys are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Firm’s website or in connection with its communication channels.

Storage in the United States
The Firm’s website is hosted in the United States. It is intended for use by and directed to users in the United States. The personal information you provide to the Firm may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States. The United Kingdom, members of the European Union and the European Economic Area, and certain other countries may take the position that the laws of the United States do not provide adequate privacy protection for personal information (i.e., personal data). If you do not consent to having your personal information / personal data processed and stored in the United States, do not send that information to the Firm.

Changes to the Firm’s Privacy Statement
It is the Firm’s policy to post any changes we make to the Firm’s privacy statement on this page. If the Firm makes any material change to how the Firm treats users’ or clients’ personal information, the Firm will notify you through a notice on the Firm’s website home page.
